A simpler sign-in, a new Add section, and a fresher mobile experience

Added

Suggest a show — or a venue or company. There’s a new Add section where anyone can add live arts to SHOWBLiZ. For shows, you can include the description, opening and closing dates, playwright, language, duration and a poster. You can start filling it out even before you sign in — your work is saved, and you can finish after a quick login. You’ll see your suggestions in your account with a “Pending review” badge, and approved shows can carry a “From the producer” mark when they come straight from the people putting them on.

A welcome that helps you start. New to SHOWBLiZ? After you confirm your email, a one-time welcome screen helps you follow what you love, turn on the weekly digest, and add your artist profile if you have one.

Add your own credits. When you build out an artist profile, you can now capture full show details for each credit and add a show to SHOWBLiZ right from there — with separate fields for venue and director.

Fixed

Photos that load. We fixed images that were going missing on some show pages, including posters and logos that quietly failed to appear. They show up reliably now.

The profile editor stays put. We fixed a glitch that could make an artist profile suddenly go blank while editing.

Sign-in that’s clearer when something goes wrong. Expired sign-in links now show the right message, and error notices are easier to read.

Update emails are flowing again. A hiccup that stopped our product-update emails from going out is fixed.

Updated

One simple sign-in. Login, signup and password reset now live on a single page. Just enter your email and we’ll send a magic link, or continue with Google. Prefer a password? That option is still there. Links work even if you request one on your phone and open it on your laptop, and there’s a “Keep me signed in” choice. Everything is available in English and Spanish.

A fresher mobile menu. Search now sits front and center at the bottom of the screen, and a single tidy menu holds venues, companies, people, neighborhoods, the Add section, language and your account.

A cleaner look for cards. Show, venue and neighborhood cards switched to a widescreen shape with a slightly tighter corner, so everything feels more consistent.

A richer artist profile. The profile editor is now one simple form that saves as you go, and public profiles can show reels, certifications, personal details, pronouns and your stage name.
